Mom and Dad's Trip to Norway in 1989
The Gjokstad Boat was another burial boat built a little later then the Oseberg Boat and a little more useful as a cargo ship. It has the same sharp high prow and stern and was constructed with iron rivets. There were many artifacts in the boat that showed an agricultural way of life but also some significant items culture and wealth.
