Mom and Dad's Trip to Norway in 1989
The Oseberg Boat was built about 830 A.D. and had been used as the burial boat for a couple of important ladies. Note the high ornamented prow and stern and single mast. The boat was held together with iron rivets and ninety percent of it is original. It shows quite high skills in both wood working and metal working.
